Georg Jensen Cactus Flower Brooch No 227

Designed by Albertus Gundorph (1887 – 1970), one of Georg Jensen’s most popular designers. This brooch measures 1 1/4 inches (31mm) long X 7/8 inches (23mm) wide and weighs approx. 7 grams. It’s in very good antique condition and the rollover pin mechanism is in good working order.

This brooch is no longer in production and is fully hallmarked as follows:   GI engraved in dotted circle (Georg Jensen mark used 1920’s); 925 (Silver content); Sterling;  Denmark and the numbers 227 (design number). I have not polished this brooch but it has been cleaned and sanitised. If the patina of age is not to your liking I will polish the piece for you upon sale.
